Greetings PMINYC Members,
As you know, PMINYC has been busy with key Chapter, Breakfast, Career Development and other programs. A unique highlight of the last quarter was our hosting of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) delegation in March - so bridging cultural barriers was spoken about in the Career Development Network and acted upon in our discussions with the delegation (see the “PM is a Global Skill Set” article). Hopefully this is just the beginning of PMINYC’s involvement with our partners in China.
Next quarter, in addition to our standard program offerings, we will focus our attention on solidifying a solid full-day Professional Development Day Program. Richard Phelan and his team have done an excellent job setting up this event; so don’t forget to put September 19th on your calendar! It’s also not too early to make plans to attend the PMI Global Conference, North American, October 10-12, in Denver, as well.
Stay tuned for the next quarterly Baseline and do enjoy the exciting upcoming program offerings.
