The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the largest global professional association dedicated to the profession of project management. More information about PMI can be found at www.pmi.org.

The Project Management Institute New York City Chapter (PMINYC) is one of the largest chapters in PMI with close to 3,000 members representing over 300 companies, from small businesses to Fortune 500 global enterprises. PMINYC prides itself in providing a wide variety of educational experiences in order to advance the careers of our members and the practice of project management.
The chapter offers three regularly scheduled monthly meetings in addition to special events and educational opportunities in project management. All meetings provide time for attendees to network with their colleagues.

In addition to the above types of events, the chapter also organizes and hosts an annual Professional Development Day. This event is known for attracting speakers who are leaders in the project management community.

The chapter has an active Community Outreach program, which includes the following:
  • Corporate Outreach
  • Academic Outreach
  • Neighborhood Outreach
  • Service Outreach
The chapter is a volunteer-run organization and offers many opportunities to the membership to earn “pdus” by helping to run the chapter.
